Thousands took to the bridge with the first light of day occupygezi istanbul.
People are marching into the cities in a show of support and solidarity with those who suffered the brutal police attacks of the 2 morning raids on OccupyGezi and 24 hrs of violent clashes that have followed.
Cities and people from all across Istanbul are coming together in solidarity with the OccupyGezi protesters.

People are not only rallying against the police violence and to save the last remaining green space in Istanbul, but are also expressing frustration with Turkish Government.

Witness says ‘1000s of people in Ankara closed off the protocol road, marching tprotested all night longoward the parliament building.’ Earlier reports emerged of the protests and tear-gas having spread from Istanbul’s Gezi to the capital Ankara. Protesters also witnessed at two locations in Izmir, according to social media pictures. Thousands are currently reported to be marching towards the Parliament.
